Why there is Putty (Refinish Paint Traces)?

Following the topcoat, some putty traces can be seen on the surface, and the putty's edge decreases.

Why did it turn out this way? There are likely three factors.

Reason: A. The putty is scraped on thickly, and the topcoat isn't completely dry. This is especially true when putty and filler are applied to the joint interface, where drying and hardening are both quite sluggish. It will deteriorate and soften in this situation.

Reason B. If the intermediate coating, which is painted on top of the filler, is applied to the putty too thickly at once, the solvent of the middle coating will erode the junction between the putty and the previous coating film, causing the shrinkage to appear.

Reason C. The top coat, intermediate coating, and buffers are applied excessively thickly or the thinner is painted.

How can the issue be resolved?

Please let Wayneto explain.

After polishing with #400 sandpaper and using putty to cover any imperfections, correctly apply the intermediate paint and top coat.
