Moistureproof Auto Base Coat Anti UV , Practical Acrylic Automotive Paint

Q: What surface preparation does this 1K acrylic base coat need?

A: Sand the old finish or substrate with P500-P600 by machine or P800-P1000 by hand, remove oil, wax and rust, then blow off dust and wipe with a tack cloth. A smooth, dry 1K primer surface gives the best levelling and colour hold, and refining the repair edges first prevents a visible ring after top coating.

Q: How does the anti UV performance hold up outdoors?

A: The acrylic system uses UV-stabilised resin and antioxidants, and our films are validated on accelerated QUV ageing equivalent to several years of natural exposure without powdering, fading or cracking. For full outdoor durability, always finish the base coat with a UV-stable clear coat - the base coat carries the colour, the clear coat carries the weather protection.

Q: Why choose a moistureproof base coat for humid or coastal markets?

A: Humidity attacks primer and base layers from underneath, causing blisters, loss of adhesion and dull patches. The moistureproof film blocks water vapour penetration, which makes it a safer choice for tropical, coastal and rainy-season markets where panels are sprayed in high humidity and stored before shipping.

Q: Do you supply samples and can colours be customised?

A: Yes. Trial quantities and sprayed sample panels are available, and colours are matched from OEM codes, panel samples or your own masterbatch target with colour difference held around 1.5. Send your colour list, pack size and annual volume and we will confirm MOQ, tiered pricing and lead time.
